Hi.

I messed and bought the Steam version.

I want the matrix version WITHOUT buying another P&S game.

Is there some way to arrange that?

no sorry, buy from here and then you get a site key and site version and also if released on steam, a steam key, buy other way around, from steam or GOG, and that's the only version you have.

unless you played it for less than 2 hours and then can refund with steam
