The AI seems better since the patch

In the age of Pike and Shot, mighty struggles erupted across Europe for causes religious, political or dynastic. The Thirty Years War raged across Germany and beyond, leaving devastation in its wake, but saw the rise of great commanders such as Count Tilly, Wallenstein and King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden, and rapid developments in battlefield tactics.

The AI seems better since the patch

Post by vaalen »

I am wondering if the AI has been modified substantially in the latest patch, as it seems to fight much better in the Campaign game. Not just the strategic AI, but the tactical AI in the campaign battles. In the Great Turkish War scenario, it seems to make better use of terrain, actually trying to engage my Austrian and Polish forces in rough terrain, where the Turks have an advantage.

I have lost some battles that I would have won before the patch.

Very impressive!
