1939 DLC Conclusions

Fans of the old Panzer General series rejoice for the release of Panzer Corps. Following in the footsteps of the popular SSI masterpiece and sharing with the General series the same level of engagement and strategic depth, Panzer Corps will keep an unmistakable "PG feeling" whilst improving and refining the gameplay and balance. Panzer Corps will feature 26 scenarios on 21 unique maps, covering most major battles of the European Theatre of World War II and including a few hypothetical 'what if' scenarios based on your actions. Now expanded with a full-war mega-campaign and the Afrika Corps and Allied Corps releases!

1939 DLC Conclusions

Post by GaryChildress »

Just finished the 1939 DLC. GREAT campaign! I love the diverse new victory conditions. Definitely adds a whole new level of interest to the game. Just purchased the 1940 campaign. Can't wait for the 1941! Great work by all those involved in creating PC.

Exactly my thoughts, although better formulated. [:)]
I think I understand what military fame is; to be killed on the field of battle and have your name misspelled in the newspapers.

Excellent, always luv to hear this.  :D

Believe me though, 1939 is just the beginning.  Not just of the war, but of the sort of things we can and plan to do with the game!

Talking about this DLC, how do you dispose of sea mines?

There are no mineclearing units, so you cannot.

The mines are there to lock the Blucher at its position, otherwise it would be trivial to sail it out of the fjord and away from the Oscarborg.  :)

Done, bring on 1940. Nice variations in this campaign. I think I lost 2 or 3 units between the campaigns. has anyone experienced this?

Just finished Invading Denmark, really enjoyed both the Spanish Civil War and the 1939 Axis Operations.
Already have 1940 bought and paid for.
Is anyone else reporting difficulties with getting it to download. It shows on the menu but is grayed out.
I have updated the installer etc. and its going into the FieldMarshal Edition.

Haven't seen any other comments about this.
