adding support units to Corps

Playing original WITE, Soviets, Jan 1943 and I can't figure out how to add support regiments to Corps. For example, 4th Shock Army currently has 48 support groups...mostly regiments... and 4 infantry Corps assigned. When I go to a Corps and click on "assign" there are none...blank page. Again...any help will be much appreciated!

If the list is empty then you don't have anything that can be attached. If you read the sction 7.5.2 from the Unofficial manual (see link below) it states '...cannot attach construction, labor, artillery, mortar, and rocket support units, or support units with the designations LW or PVO' to corps. The list will be empty if the HQs only have these types.

If there is no assign button then the unit already has max su, it's frozen or it's not in supply. It can have support units attached by scenario but no new until un frozen etc.

Support units will take part in combat on the turn they are transferred but are not deemed fully transferred unitl the next turn appearing with *asterisk until then.
