What does the 'area' stat refer to?

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

What does the 'area' stat refer to?

Post by Marc1314 »

Hi, I've been away from the game for a while so i've been re-learning the game but this 'area' stat from the subunit inspector has been bugging me.
None of my suggestions seem very likely to me so could someone explain it please.
thanks.

Area refers to small arms or blast effect. Basically, a rating of damage applied to an area versus direct fire that engages a point target.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Do you mean like the damage value of the blast radius?
