Battlestorm Stalingrad S3/E9 - FIRESTORM
"As Paulus's 6th Army crosses the Don river, Wolfram Freiherr von Richthofen's Luftflotte 4 launches a devastating air attack on the city of Stalingrad itself. Soviet civilians were caught in a firestorm that was, perhaps, Stalin's doing (we debate this today!)." -- TIK

What was the Point of Langermann's 24th Panzer Corps? (And more...) Stalingrad Addendum 4
"Several questions and interesting comments from my recent Battlestorm Stalingrad series, including the question of what was the point of Landermann's 24th Panzer Corps having just one division in it? And why Hoth's 4th Panzer Army didn't directly help Paulus's 6th Army and instead went a different route?" -- TIK

You'll be seeing quite a few scenarios based on this situation in Stalingrad: Nightmare on The Volga. Check it out.

I am a patron of TIK's YouTube channel. Lots of WWII history presented in a way that brings all the book-reading together into a package that is easy to understand. Highly recommended!

Terrible state of German Divisions BEFORE Stalingrad city | BATTLESTORM STALINGRAD S4/E11
The German divisions of Paulus's 6th Army were weak, and in this video we're going to take a look at the numbers and see just how bad things were on the eve of the Battle of Stalingrad. We'll watch as the Soviet Red Army counterattacks Axis forces in numerous places, and how Hoth's 4th Panzer Army failed to go anywhere. And we'll also witness both Hitler and Stalin argue with their commanders as the situation on the Eastern Front slips out of their control.
This is a battle-animation documentary covering the events of the Stalingrad Campaign on the 24th and 25th of August 1942, backed by over 100 sources, and multiple in-video references.

Was Reaching the Volga North of Stalingrad the WRONG move? BATTLESTORM STALINGRAD S4/E12
This is a battle-animation documentary covering the events of the Stalingrad Campaign on the 26th and 27th of August 1942, backed by over 100 sources, and multiple in-video references. And, after seeing how bad the situation is for Gustav Anton von Wietersheim's 14th Panzer Corps is, we will ask the question: Was reaching the Volga north of Stalingrad the wrong move? Could Paulus's 6th Army have gone southeast to meet with Hoth's 4th Panzer Army?

The Final BLITZKRIEG before Stalingrad City! Battlestorm Stalingrad S5/E13
"Hermann Hoth finally gets his 4th Panzer Army on the move, in what will turn out to be the final successful Blitzkrieg of the Stalingrad Campaign. The 48th Panzer Corps smashed through the 126th Rifle Division and raced off towards Stalingrad, causing chaos in the 64th Army. Shumilov reacts by pulling back his tanks, but the 64th Army is taken by surprise and is out of position. Eremenko must accept the inevitable - that his line is broken and that the city of Stalingrad is probably about to fall."

Zhukov's 1st Kotluban Offensive Begins | BATTLESTORM STALINGRAD S5 E15
"General Georgy Zhukov launches his 1st Kotluban Offensive in the September of 1942, in an attempt to breakthrough to the 62nd Army at Stalingrad. Paulus's 6th Army though offered stiff resistance, and the offensive quickly went wrong. It didn't help that Zhukov was pressured by Stalin into attacking before his forces were ready. But don't worry, the 1st Kotluban Offensive wouldn't be the last."
