No valid serial found

When I start the game I get "No valid serial found" and then it directs me to the help desk. Do I have to reinstall the game?

First question: What have you done to get to this state?

And yes, this usually means you need to reinstall.

I had to reset Windows, that is probably what happened. I'll just reinstall
I think I will finally stop procrastinating......... tomorrow
