Consequences for Enemy Units being out of supply

Post by Schildy81 »

Hi,

I am fairly new to the game and currently try to figure out the mechanics. I focused on playing Panzercorps thus far and got the Decisive Campaigns Bundle because I want to try something more complex (hoepfully not to complex for me [;)]).
As far as I understand so far encircling enemy units in pockets is one of the concepts. My question: do encircled units automatically lose supply and surrender eventually? How many rounds does this take? Once they are fully encircled with no option to retreat they are obviously rather easy to destroy but in order avoid casulties forcing them to surrender seem to be preferable to me...

Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi there,

No units that our surrounded do not surrender. They instead will use the supply they have, and when they run out of that begin losing readiness. Once they have lost enough readiness they are easy to destroy. But there is no surrender for being encircled.
