Tanks/Vehicles-wrecks shadows Question

It's a question for the coders:

Wrecks often have a different name than tanks/vehicles associated to them. My question is: in this case (different names), how has been coded wreck shadow? The wreck takes the shadow from the tank/vehicle (with different name) associated to it, or anyway it needs a specific shadow (with wreck name) in shadows.azp file?
