maps were too big so have been trimmed using Mafi's CC2Tools v5.02

Strangely they played at the larger size in CoI, you could make custom battles,  but MMCC3 didn't like them.

Using the FTP works...DirectoryOpus opens with an FTP directory showing me all the map files.

CoI was only a twinkle in our eye when MMCC3 was made, so I presume it was developed taking into account the known limitations of CC3 at the time, and the array out of bounds error makes sense when trying to read map data on maps which are larger than the 'limits' (at the time).

By the way, are any of you up for a bit of Custom Scenario hacking with our CCODM program when I have finished the Editor? Finding out how far it can be pushed before falling over? I am quite looking forward to trying out 10 barrages. It may just be a non event (crashed the game), on the other hand it may just be too much destruction to make it fun, but that's the sort of thing we are looking for.

Anyway, I'll keep you posted in developments.

MMCC3 could use an update. It drives me absolutely shithouse that I can't max the program and have the map fill the screen, instead it goes to a tiny area.

10 barradges sounds good for The Great War mod.

re: MMCC3 update.

We don't have the source code and the developer and Matrix can't come to terms....  so expect no more but don't give up hope.

I've found some old posts at CSO that might allow the maps to expand.... a bit of testing and hacking needed though.

Well the developer probably wants some money... can't say I blame him, and I think it would be deserved, though we few, we happy few, we band of brothers, doth hardly a goodly profit make [8D].

Pass on my thanks to the Matrix men who sorted out the Servers. Also give them a kick up the arse for taking so long, and for that, they are still on probation... like have they given you decent access?

No access is still a problem... it looks like it's getting closer though... I can update files but i can't reset the servers.

I guess all i have to do is continually ask for the serevers to be reset until someone gets fed up with it   [:D]   then they'll get me access.

I can start filling up the helpdesk again. That worked to get the servers in working order [:D]

I get the same error with the maps below any time ... not just after barrage or more troops

2. Longuevi
3. portb crashes

4. inbasly

Tried to play Mr. Potato and received java error

That looks like a networking issue. For instance if DNS is screwed or Firewall is blocking, or something...

I'm also seeing the deployment area not accurately represented in map screen prior to the battle starting.

I think this is an MMCC III bug. Some call it a feature, but it bugs me!
ORIGINAL: Dundradal

I often see the correct shape of the area however it is displayed in the middle of the map.

Never seen this before!
