Mod Packs Questions

There are two mod packs available. One is the snow pack and the other is the western front pack. Each includes a new elements file for mod swap. What I'd like to do is modify my basic elements file to include the new stuff so I can just put the new maps in the map folder and eliminate the mod swap for them.

Are the two new elements files identical?
What is new and what has changed? In other words, what types of terrain can I copy/paste from the new elements file(s) to my original?

The main reason I want to do this is that I have two mods already incorporated into a total elements file, the perturbo one and the "walk thru walls" one and they are included in a mod swap file that I put together. I'd like to use the maps from those two packs along with my modded elements file. If I simply mod swap the new maps it will eliminate my modded elements file. Thanks for any help.
