New Nation voice files?

Post by Nomada_Firefox »

How can I add them? I have many doubts.

With the sounds, I needed to add a sfx0.txt with all the lines from the original + my new sounds. Without the original, it did not load the original sounds.

Now with the voices, I believe how it does not work very well.....or there are many missing points......

sfx0.txt is for weapon/combat/UI sounds.

For voice cues you want to use sfx1.txt through sfx6.txt. Sfx1.txt is voice cues for nation index 0, sfx2.txt is for nation index 1, etc.

I was wrong about one thing. The game was loading the voices but it does not load the new weapon sounds.

I added a sfx0.txt with all the original sounds inside the file + these other few.
// Veteran Weapon sounds
Piat 220
EnfieldNo2MkI 221
stengun 222
brenmg 223
vickers 224
17_pounder 225

If I add only the new sounds, the game does not load any of the originals.

Any idea?
