High Water Mark AAR.

Post by Big Ivan »

Berto and Crossroads,

As usual you gentlemen presented another superb AAR on a fun scenario![&o]

I played this one a while back as the Israelis against a Syrian A/I and squeaked out a minor Israeli victory on the last turn. I never did get close to Saasa town like
Crossroads did but instead banged away at exposed Syrian units in the front line quarter scoring even more Syrian infantry casualties in the last couple of turns.
Since I was playing the A/I, I was using Jeff Schaffer's optional rules for playing against the A/I presented in a JTCS thread back in March, 2017 (I think).

Thank you both for this fun look at a well conceived and detailed AAR report!![;)]

Cheers!
Big Ivan[:)]

Glad you enjoyed it, Big Ivan. It's hard to keep the writing fresh. There are only so many ways you can say "fired at" or "shot at" or ... But screenshots are never tiresome, are they? [:)]

Thanks Ivan! I quite failed to bring the Syrians to battle as the Israeli commander, have been demoted to play Teaching Sets only for the foreseeable future! Which I am doing, and enjoying them immensely [:D]

A super DAR from Berto! I take a bow [&o]

I just read Crossroads' AAR at Grogheads in full. Quite entertaining, full of flavor. I return the bow, Crossroads! [&o]

+1 Screen shots are definitely a vital part of a well conceived AAR. You and Crossroads have the inside track on great screenshots![:)]
