Frankly it's one of the things that seems to be worse since the merger with Slitherine. You might consider releasing a beta in the forums with install instructions. Looks like that's what Vic does for his games.

Such a shame. But as mentioned, delivering updates on time has been an issue for Matrix for a long time. Hopefully it gets sorted before too long.
