No Depots on Light Fleets?

Hi there,

in order to give invasion supply, I wanted to place a depot on a light fleet. The game did not allow this and posted a prompt box "Area724 Is Not In a Valid Supply Chain!"

I play GB. There IS a Depot with feet located in London. London is not blocked.

My question: Is it a bug or is it on purpose?

The manual (10.5.4) says "A depot may be constructed on a fleet ..." Fleets are not differentiated by type.

I CAN construct depots on heavy and transport fleets. So maybe the manual (version 1.23) has to be adapted?

I'm using version 1.23.06.
