Using a Plane Group's Formation Editor Causes Fuel Issues

If you have a group of in air planes (let's say 4) and you use the Formation Editor to place them into a COLUMN (perhaps others as well) the planes will immediately be placed in a line, as expected. This occurs with every scenario. What is unexpected is the FUEL USAGE RATE seems to be changed. Some will use fuel at a much higher rate than others.

For example, of the 4-plane group, some returned using 23 kg per minute, while others may be at 63. Since the planes are all in a group, the program makes no attempt to change any of them, and the ones that were using too much fuel will run out of fuel and crash.

Again, this only occurs if you use the FORMATION EDITOR while the planes are already flying and are IMMEDIATELY MOVED into a new position (order).

This was discovered when researching another issue. Any scenario can be used to replicate this.
