Game bugs detected.

Post by foxid259 »

Please tell me, I have 2 questions.

1. It is normal for the Geran-2 UAVs in the game to fly at 60 feet above the ground level (to my understanding it is 20 meters)? I wonder where the developers got this cruising altitude? There are buildings in Kyiv that are 20 stories high - that's actually 180 feet . The game makes a big mistake about the flight height of the Geran-2 UAV, it should be around 100-150 m. (300-450 feet.)

2. When I manually route the aircraft from several points and set the altitude to 2000 feet, the aircraft reaches the first point, after passing the first point it starts to gain the standard altitude of 36000 feet- this is normal, should it be?

1) Do you have a source for that? If so, you should report it to the github db team. https://github.com/PygmalionOfCyprus/cmo-db-requests. Keep in mind that CMO uses terrain type-dependent paths that move between and over building and forested areas for air units. Not sure if that makes a difference.

2) As has been stated and asked for numerous times, attach a save that shows the issue. Otherwise its a lot of guessing, like above.

Thank you for your answer. Game version 1.05.1307.18

1. I will answer you - I am from Ukraine and 2 sometimes 3 times a week I see Gerani-2 flying over my city, believe me, they fly at an altitude of no higher than 150 m (450 feet), but definitely not at an altitude of 20 m (60 feet).

2. For the realism of the game, this is important due to the fact that when Geran-2 flies at an altitude of 20 m (60 feet), no weapon can shoot it down, since this exceeds the minimum height of use of the weapon.

If I didn't do something, then this happens, I contact technical support first, I like this game, so I want to help the developers.

I cannot add the save file to the forum - message (Invalid file extension: Foxid save.scen)

You need to ZIP the file and then attach it.
