1243.5 GUI: Right Panel Group Alt/Speed Section Bug

Post by boogabooga »

On the right panel, in the Group Alt/Speed Section- the manual altitude buttons do not highlight to show the current manual selection like the throttle buttons do. This happens when aircraft are selected. The buttons do otherwise work in that the unit follows the set altitude.

Also, the datablock for aircraft groups shows altitude but not speed and heading.

I would expect that as the altitude is NOT the preset value, it doesn't know which button to highlight.
Not sure how this should be handled as if you highlight MAX altitude, players may say that the unit is NOT at the MAX but between HIGH and MAX. :(

I might have taken that screengrab during an ascent or decent. But, those buttons have always highlighted to show the commanded altitude, not the instantaneous altitude, just like the throttle.

This appears to still be a bug in 1263.1.
