Scenario 8 : Enemy at the Gates

Post by TitaniumTrout »

This one is tough. There are a lot of Soviet subs to weave through. I've got about a dozen playthroughs and have not snuck in yet. I've sunk Victors, Akulas, and yet something always is waiting. The scenario plays well and gives you a lot of tools, it's just very challenging.

8 miles out from Home Port and we hit a mine. Interestingly enough on this round I didn't encounter a single hostile sub.

Interesting, first playthrough sank a victor and akula but hit a mine on the way into port. Second try sank the same subs and simply detoured around the minefield box.

Don't know about other players but I'm finding these scenarios a bit too easy...

And the lack of playable Soviet scenarios is a bit surprising.

Scenario 12 is played from the Soviet side, and it's a big one, so there's that to look forward to,
