Is the AIS simulated?

Post by Sputnikod »

Hello colleagues.

I wanted to confirm this, but it doesn't seem that the AIS system is simulated, am I right?

It doesn't look like commercial aircraft have transponders either.

Its not explicitly simmed. But I make all large civilian ships auto ID in modern scenarios.

It can be indirectly modelled by making any unit auto-detectable and identifiable.

If OTOH you need to import actual AIS data into Command, please contact us through the pro site: https://pro.matrixgames.com/contactPro
