War Planner update feedback

Post by HappyHedonist »

I'm assuming I'm not the only one with this experience, but this new update has fundamentally changed how I feel about the game personally. It has went from something I play with in passing when I'm bored to being completely obsessed with. On my end the patch has provided serious performance improvements and the idea of some kind of operations planner (although I don't understand it completely yet) is something I've wanted since CMANO. I'm going to go back to back to orchestrating strikes in Desert Storm, but I haven't seen much in the way of praise so wanted to provide some.

For those not paying attention to the betas, CMO has gone from mission-centric to mission-necessary. The scope and flexibility of the planning tools requires a player to rethink of almost every aspect of the game.

Agreed, the ability to plan and coordinate operations that this update adds is nothing short of transformative. Absolutely love it, and the increased realism of the new missile kinematics. I feel like I learn something new every time I open up the sim!

I will join in on the agreement. Between the mission planner and DB updates - not to mention the swell of community support and resources - CMO feels like a brand new game.
