Questions regarding the Editors and trooptype/officer evaluation

Post by HermannMatern »

I have the following questions regarding the editors:

1. In the Historical Models sheet, what is the battlegroup coloumn meant for? It's not mentioned in the guide.
2. [solved]
3. How are officers evaluated? I noticed that german officers, even army leaders, have in average lower organisational skill than for example in Case Blue.
4. How do I put flags on a map for hexes with assured ownership?

Thanks in advance.

1) You can add any trooptypes to a KG, but if not KG, only the official specific trooptypes for that units types;

3) The officers values are linked with the AI and cards and are slightly different from older DC games. I started making the values for some of the best officers (Model , Guderian, Rommel .... Patton, Montgomery , Bradley, .... ) and than by comparing them for better or worse to all the others. I tried to consider the battles curriculum but also the decorations received. (10-20 is the standard value, 70-80 for excellent officers, i leave some margin 81-99 for possible AI features or bonus);

4) You can assign the flag (and also the VP ) only using the scenario editor: select map, regime , select paint type....
(when finished remember to click "end drawing mode" because the regime remain memorized and applied when you click any hex.)
