Yes the corps south of Rostov is out of command range the armee HQ is still within 15 hexes of the other 3 corps....later on in the month i reorganize armies slightly and get that panzer army abit more condensed but do leave the one corps on its own lol...only so many German Army HQs to go around and they are all maxed out and some even over.....notice I have like 3 corps in my center all going directly to AGC

When March hit I wanted to start striking back and burning down soviet OOB as fast as possible so with all the attacking and advancing of 2 months armies got abit mixed up...as I get towards June I start to reorganize some...as well the panzer army has alot of infantry as I sent most of the panzers to the west for the winter and only brought them into action in the east in april after the winter penalties ended aside from some panzer divisions at Kallinin and Tula which were needed to make sure we didnt get pushed back from those areas.

Good thing is German corps commanders are typically 6+ skill so can actually make the rolls over 50% of the time without an army re-roll being needed

Key stats- Soviet losses continue to be heavy, Axis OOB is maintaining strength.

I would say---Axis replacements seem to be generous really---even losing 40k men per week between axis allies absorbing a chunk of the losses, German replacements and HIWIs from PoWs replacing 40k losses per week doesn't seem to be an issue.

Next may turn think i got the date wrong lol---23rd/27th IDK lol March 1942

North- more fighting around Kallinin

Center- more fighting east of Tula

South Managed to get a pocket of soviet units using some herding to keep them to the East and into the pocket. This should clear the way to stalingrad.

23/27MAR1942 key stats---some date in that area lol

Again heavy soviet losses and decent axis losses---but 40k per week for axis in 1942 seems to be easily sustainable.

Soviets are probably only getting maybe 100-110k men per week even with disabled returns. So soviet loss rate is unsustainable while Axis is fine.

IMO honest opinion Soviet replacement rates for 1941 and 1942 are tad to low just my 2 cents...esp with how many losses the Germans can inflict from basically just frontally attacking all the time.

Army Group South is a interesting mix !

2nd Pz Armee ( minus 1 Armeekorps which seems to be committed to Krasnodar ) driving on Stalingrad
1 Pz Korps from 1st Pz Armee comprised of Axis Allies attacking Stalingrad
11th Armee with Panzer units ( possibly a Pz Korps attached ) again concentrating on Krasnodar

And your 4 Axis Allied Army's spearheading your advance into The Caucuses, BOLD, impressive, I like it :D

Good luck

Was a misclick-----was supposed to be 2nd pz armee- light blue panzer army lol........1 Pz Korps from 1st Pz Armee comprised of Axis Allies attacking Stalingrad---had these misclick on command changes a couple times in this game...its been far from a perfect axis game and you see the results--Axis OP lol(axis losses really are to low and soviet replacements prolly to low balance wise IMO)- Look at disabled returns alone----I get 1 axis soldier back for every 2 soviets hes getting back but the exchange ratio in the turn is usually close to 4+:1 axis to soviets as well by 1942 so many manpower points have been lost by the soviets the weekly replacement rate is only about 100k men if that as they lose more ground....yes you get some disabled returns but at a 1:2 rate its not enough to make up for the 4+:1 exchange rate in losses.

I fixed the command the next turn.

An yes due to command point limits the chain of command is abit ad hoc in the south as I still have many very strong armies slugging away to the north and south of Moscow---this has in turn drawn the majority of his forces into the fighting at Moscow and its areas leaving the south fairly lightly defended.

I dont fault him as isnt much he can really do about it but try to conserve forces abit more than he has and give space....he starts to do this in future as his OOB starts to drop in chunks in a couple turns from combat so he needs the space to rebuild---but also cant give up space at Moscow really so heavy losses continue esp to the NE of Tula.

As to axis allies--notice germans are holding the main rail line advances axis allied are the more distance flank support in area where the soviets would also have trouble supplying any real combat forces---

2nd- you want to take losses on the axis allies---those disabled feed back into a % of german replacements and if you lose Axis allies taking out soviets its a double win--they took out some soviets and you got probably some german replacements out of it.

Yes the soviets get some wins here and there but attrition is really how you win WITE.
