Very excited to play this scenario!
First I have to finish me Sov GC, once that is done I will be playing this as the Axis.
To be honest I would love matrix to make this an official 'what if' DLC with them giving it additional support.

It's been awhile since I used the editor and I am a little rusty.
To unfreeze units you need to got to the map in the editor and click on the unit to get the unit detail screen. Click "Freeze Unit" (I know it is counterintuitive) then in the box that pops up enter 0 (zero) and click the tick. The unit will now have movement points visible in the unit detail screen and the unit counter on the map.
If the unit has none or low supply, fuel, ammo or support then you will need to give it some either in the unit detail screen in the editor itself under the Units tab or on the map in the editor using the Commander's Report editor functions.
I haven't played WITE 2 hardly at all during the summer and so I apologise for my tardy response to your question. I didn't get any notification from the forum that someone had posted in this thread.
I don't know how to code the Italian air units to accept units and stay on the map. If I did then I have forgotten how to. I will revisit this scenario at some point and hoepfully re-learn all the things I have forgotten about the editor.
The best advice I can give you is just to experiment with the editor. Try different things out and see if they work. That's how I hit upon stopping Lend-Lease for the Soviets. I would recommend you make a back up copy of any scenarios you are editing so if you make a catastrophic mistake you can easily revert back to a previous version.
For instance in the screenshots I posted I use a copy of the 1941 Campaign I have renamed to 1941 Do Not Play and anything I want to try out with the editor I use this as a testbed.

No I haven't.
I will give this scenario another pass at some point in the future and add back manpower and equipment losses the Germans suffered historically in the campaigns that in this scenario never happened. I will also look at factories, city based AA and some other stuff that might need to be addressed. Probably a lot of stuff will fall into that suitably vague latter category.
As I wrote earlier in the thread I want to resist going down the rabbit hole with this and start second guessing every decision I have made given the alternate reality nature of the scenario. The scenario is a little rough around the edges but it is more than playable and TBH there are some things that I just don't know how to implement with the editor. Or even if it is possible to do some things with the editor. The editor itself is being worked on by the devs and I will hold off on making any changes to this scenario until all the improvements to the editor have been thorougly tested and completed. The last thing I want to do is edit my scenario with the new editor and find it is irreparably screwed up.
The War in the... games have gotten so complicated now that reading the beta dev forum I get the impression that no one person alone knows how absolutely everything in the game works. Gary Grigsby would obviously know the most but Pavel also codes much of the game and as far as I know they work on different sections of the code. For instance Pavel is working on the editor improvements.
Sorry for the long winded response. I felt a full explanation was preferable to a simple "no".

I also would love Matrix to make this an official "What if" DLC with their full support. Not for any sort of personal gain I would just like someone who knows more about the editor to be resposible for maintaining and updating the scenario.

A Note To Anyone Who Plays This Scenario
The in-game editor is currently being worked on by the devs and consequently I will hold off on making any changes to this scenario until all the improvements to the editor have been thorougly tested and completed. The last thing I want to do is edit my scenario with the new editor and find it is irreparably damaged.

Any idea how the in-game editor is coming along?
Still on my vanilla SU GC but I can see it ending in a few more hours of gameplay - and this is 100% the scenario I want to play next.

The scenario is currently very playable. There are some minor issues but the scenario can be played and enjoyed right now.
Don't let the promise of some tweaking I intend to do stop you playing this scenario right now.
The devs have been busy with the release of Steel Inferno and will presumably go back to improving the editor now. I doubt the editor improvement work will be completed by the end of the year but I am not a dev and therefore cannot be 100% certain either way.
Regardless of that please don't let it stop you playing this scenario now. The changes I intend to make are relatively minor. The meat and bones of the scenario are already in place and it is well worth playing in it's current state.

Played the scenario up to july 42
and had an issue with the fuel supply of the army.
It is reduced since the beginning of winter, wich is explained by reduced transport capacities.
But it never recovers and the the complete wehrmacht on the ground is without fuel supply
Summer 42. HQs and motorizeds Units (including panzers) standing still. Planes flying though.
I never had this in the "standard" campaign, and no idea how to solve it, the other supplies seem ok.

The simple answer is you might have brought too many units on to the map. Shorten your lines, send some forces (including the Axis Allies) back to the Axis Reserves or set some units to static status might help. The rail net can only supply so many units. Motorised and armoured units are obviously more demanding than infantry.
I have not made any changes to the rail net or supply network. Some of that stuff is hardcoded so I couldn't if I wanted to.
Of the things pertaining to supply that can be changed in the editor I made a conscious decision not to change anything. The player is going to have to make some hard choices as to what to bring from the Axis Reserves and then how to keep them supplied. Some units will have to be used sparingly.
Given the underlying premise of the scenario supplying huge formations in the vastness of Russia would not have been any easier than it was historically. Just because the Western Allies are not belligerents doesn't make the Russian road and rail net any better.
There may be some other underlying issue but if I would need to see a save to look at the situation more forensically.
Upload a save here if you like and I will take a look and maybe others can take a look also.
Just zip the save and add it as an attachment to a new post.

I really like playing this scenario! I've made many mods to it, but have been unable to "crack the Code" on adding events. I wanted to add an event to penalize soviet morale on the fall of Moscow, but haven't been able to make it work, as an example...

Here is the syntax of the event.
Some basics for the event editor:
ACTIVE = the event will fire (INACTIVE = it won't);
Date: if left as default (on condition), the event will only check when the set conditions become true (in this case, the condition becomes true when player 1 [Axis] controls the given location [Moscow]);
Check phase: for this specific event, I set "ON CITY CAPTURE" even if it would have been fine to set "ON TURN START" or "LOGISTICS PHASE";
Conditions: if more than 1 is present, then the event will fire when all conditions are satisfied ("true");
Actions: unfortunately, is not (yet) possible to cluster actions for a specific object (in this case, I had to introduce three separate lines to reduce by 10 points the Soviet national morale of land, air and naval units).
