How to best deal with Oranienburg?

A question for the veterans around here; how do you usually deal with the Oranienburg city fortress to make the assault on Leningrad easier? Do you bypass it (do units in it ever break out into your rear areas? or attack out from it?), isolate it completely (risk of losing a lot of planes near Leningrad doing naval patrols), isolate it paritally (not sea hexes), try to destroy it to free up units for the assault on Leningrad?

Generally just bypass it. You don’t need to block every hex out but have enough to zoc any attempted breakout. If Soviets leave lots of units there, great less in Leningrad. If it’s very lightly defended then just assault it with plenty of pioneer attached
