WEGOWW2: MONTY’S FRONT is a trilogy consisting of three separate operational-level computer games based on the combat operations of General Bernard Montgomery’s 21st Army Group in Northwest Europe between June and November 1944. Each game will come with 15+ scenarios, at least one campaign game, and a tutorial. These are operational-level games where the primary maneuver units are battalions and separate companies under the command of a regimental or brigade headquarters.

WEGOWW2: OVERLORD. This game will cover the period 6 June – 20 July 1944; from the invasion of Normandy to the fall of St. Lo and the attempted assassination of Adolf Hitler. Scenario Designer: Don Timian.

WEGOWW2: MARKET-GARDEN. This game will cover the period 17 – 25 September 1944. The main focus is on forces involved in Operation Market-Garden. Scenario Designer: John Duquette

WEGOWW2: INFATUATE. This game will cover the period following the closing of the Falaise Pocket; 24 August – 8 November 1944. The battles include those for the coastal ports and Walcheran Island (i.e. the operations of the Canadian's "Cinderella Army" in Northwest Europe). Scenario Designer: John Duquette

Market-Garden...It wasn't about Arnhem...it was more about the Zwolle and access to the Northern German Plain:

Let's game that.

...in the WEGOWW2 engine.

WOW looking forward to this. Excellent choice of making it a trilogy! Will Operation Goodwood be part of this?

Overlord includes the Americans. Goodwood is kind of iffy at this point. It makes more sense to include it in a game on Operation Cobra.

The Monty's Front game trilogy will also introduce the MASTER WEGOWW2 Terrain Effects Chart. This feature reflects our desire to have the ability to rapidly update ALL games in the WEGOWW2 game suite. It is also our intent to make the engine WAR GENERIC...to have the capability to address equally, many eras of warfare...call this target period 1785 to 1985. After and Before these years will rest on the imagination of the scenario designers to use the expanding set of tools provided in new and creative ways.

...very tempting...I just hope that this improvement will not be too greedy in terms of graphic configuration required...I am rather limited in this matter...

Computer power required to run the game. Like a lot of us probably has an older computer.

Thanks Budd...that's the case, older is not really the good word but without super 3D capacities (integrated system is often enough for all the beautyfull games in this world if Ram capacity follow)... ;-)

All this is designed and tested on my 16-year old computer so I think we'll be OK.
