LOS and Side

Post by Frustalupi »

When I check the LOS, the number I see inside the HEXSIDE is the hit probability ?
I checked if can find info into manual but I cannot find it...

Example, if the selected Unit try to shoot in the hex in front, there are 66% of probability that hit the target?
And how I can understand the front\rear\side of an immobile tank ?

The numbers are the level of visibility to that hex, not a hit percentage. The hard-line is out to the effective range of the main weapon system.
The aspect of the target is considered frontal unless they are surprised by an opening shot. In that case, there is a chance of a flank hit, or if they are within one hex of a unit, in that case, there is a chance of a flank, and if in a hex with infantry in a city/forest, there is a very good chance of a flank and a small chance of a rear aspect shot.
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!
