Crown of Glory will be an enjoyable experience for wargamers. It offers a wide range of experiences, from tinkering with your nation's economy and labor force to actually leading your troops into battle. Both aspects of the experience are solidly designed

Crown of Glory:Europe in the Age of Napoleon is a great game that successfully blends empire building and strategic battles. It has a depth that is rarely seen these days and once you're comfortable with how the game plays you'll be able to appreciate the game in all of its glory.

"On a 1 -10 scale, I’d give the game ... a 9+ for Grogs."
"Grogs will want it all, and Crown of Glory will not disappoint. It’s a sumptuous buffet of just about every important entrée needed to build a Napoleonic empire single-handedly. Players need only to unfold their gaming napkin and enjoy. Me, I fall midway between Grog and Mainstreamer, so playing this game was a real treat. Simply look past the subdued graphics and marvel at all the substance under your command. No, it isn’t flashy, but it is classy, and that’s a word found all too seldom in this hobby to be sure. Very well done."

“Although it needs some minor fixes, Crown of glory is a game that can keep you attached to the screen making yourself repeat 'just another one and done'.
Finally tactics and strategy can live together, well developed, in just one game"

It’s been a while since a good war game caught my eye.... It belongs in the shelves of the intelligent and patient gamer.... Crown of glory tells an interesting tale well. Crown of Glory will be an enjoyable experience for war gamers.

Crown of Glory: Europe in The Age of Napoleon is deep enough for both the empire builders and budding generals that either of these types of players will get satisfaction playing the game.

I have put two months into this game for this review - this is not a game you will load up and be done with in a few hours. This is a solid, detailed and enjoyable game you will purchase and come back to for years in your collection of great titles.... This is a must own for the experienced war gamers collection.
