Okay, problem was I tried to have the sig link to the pic in the PM. Put it on ImageShack and point the link to there seems to fix it. Doesn't seem to be any way to host banners on the Matrix server.

I need to play with it some. The drop shadows on the transparent background jacks up all the time. I may need to put a background behind it.

One of those old-style desk blotters as background perhaps? Would provide a single color background and fit with the theme you've built.

A hardwood texture would make the map stand out more. Most of the old blotters were colored pretty close to what you used in the map. *shrug* I'll trust your judgement, I don't make any claims to great artistic talent.
