There are additional Reports in the Save folder that are not readily accessed through the game interface that may provide the information you seek without the hassle of a difficult addon install.

So these reports provide an overlay for the map, first time I heard this. But for sure you are an expert and can explain how this works.
Thanks

Please stop being obnoxious. Hans and myself were trying to me helpful in different ways.

To answers your question here's part of the quote from OP.

Im guessing the WitP AE Tracker will help alleviate the lack of detail in the combat reports and Sig / Ops reports???? are their any settings that can improve this as well???

Yeah I stop in your case, your hint re. tracker was helpful contrary to Hans. I appologize to you

And thanks for reminding me on this thread. Later I may have a question for an admin too...

Thanks all.

After some experimenting I found the COmbat Reporter and Tracker to be pretty good. Im till trying to get the Intel Monkey working as well.

The feedback on the reports saved to the archive folder are also useful. I suspect a lot of the data is available in game but items like the SigInt and some of the combat events are almost impossible to keep track off so the add-on mods are great for that!!!!!

What would be great is some additional functionality on some of the existing mods mentioned, ie be great to be able to filter sigint reports on a map and then filter them by say last 24hrs, 5 days, 10 days, 20 days, >20 days and perhaps have a colored markers to reflect density in a hex - so 1-5 = green circle, 5-10 = yellow circle, 10+ = red circle for your current filter selection....just show at a glance whats going on and may even have the ability to add sighting reports on to this as well....anyway just some ideas.

Cheers

Gaz

I'll also plug a utility I made to search the entire save game archive for keywords. For example, searching all events that mention a base or a ship.

Agreed again, let´s wait if Hans accepts this and explains his post :)
Thanks for your good work btw.

Seriously, just let it be. Let's move on.

I thought this over and Chris reminded me to reply. Here a question, I googled how this is called in English and it seems to be "common courtesy":

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/common%20courtesy

"Definition of common courtesy
: politeness that people can usually be expected to show
He didn't even have the common courtesy to say goodbye when he left."

Is this out of fashion where you live or do you think customers and supporters of MG are not worth it

Ok, cut it out. Let's bury the hatchets and get back to positive discussions.

At least you said "regards"... one word that is bit friendly at least.

Btw: Will the forum be fixed soon, I tried several times to do searches and they do not work...
Thanks.

There are several places which show how to do the searches in order to get good results.

As far as burying hatchets . . .

Can you direct me - but not ones that use google etc. Only the internal forum search I want to use.

Or even better the admin shall show it, perhaps it is an issue w/ my browser. Does it work for others? I have read complaints so I am not the only one for sure.

And pls. let the admin reply to my other point - I was asking him not you, thanks So far I am not inclined to bury anything.
