Scen 1, 2 or a variant game happy to pick up an ongoing game if an allied player has quit unless its total DOA !!

Not looking for a mod game although I would do a variant game - got my fingers burned on last mod PBEM !!

Hi Andy,

I'm actually looking to start my very first WITPAE PBEM with your scenario 1. This is my player type profile and type of game I am looking for. I certainly understand if you are looking for a more experienced player:

Played UV and WITP back in the day and am just now coming back to finally play WITPAE. Not a rookie but not an expert either. Still have a lot to learn. Have only played against the AI so this will also be my first MP game. Looking for someone who enjoys a historical feel without gamey moves. PDU off. It will be a leisurely game so 1 turn/day would be the standard but sometimes 2 if it works out with understandable breaks taken for out of town, vacation, real life events, etc,...It will probably take me about two weeks to do the Japanese first turn...

Settings and house rules below. Feel free to discuss.

LATEST BETA PATCH 1126b AND ANDYMAC'S UPGRADED SCEN 1:

SETTINGS

Fog of War: On
Adv. Weather Effects: On
Allied Damage Control: On
Player Def. Upgrades: Off
Historical First Turn: Off
Dec. 7th Surprise: On
Reliable USN Torpedoes: Off
Realistic R&D: On
No Unit Withdrawals: Off
Reinforcement: Fixed
Auto Sub OPS: Off
Set All Factories to Expand at Start: Off
Auto upgrade Ships and Air Groups: Off
Accept Air & Ground Replacements: Off
Turn Cycle: 1

HOUSE RULES

No CV Hunting turn 1.

Dec 7 Allied orders limited to Ships at Sea.

Paratroopers: No fragments. Landing concentrated at one base.

No sub invasions.

Only allow landings/invasions at dots hexes or bases.

Units cutting retreat must be a realistic size of brigade or above ; What does cutting retreat mean = surrounding a hex completely with units and no direction to escape.

All PT Boats in the same hex must be in the same task force.

Maximum mission altitude for fighters restricted to band with maximum maneuverability.

Only strategic night bombing (city attack missions) (no airfield or port attacks)

No night strat bombing until 44. No China Strat bombing.

No crossing borders without paying the PP costs for moving units of restricted commands.
Exceptions: American units can move freely in Canada, and Thai units may move freely in Burma and Malaya.

No ”gamey” air unit resizing using carriers.

Army 4E bomber altitude only 10,000 ft or higher.

AVG must remain in Burma or China.

No switching land unit to air HQs etc. to do this cheaply.

In general no "gamey" cheap tactics.
