I know there is a way to create a circle of reference points around a fixed location but I can't remember how to do so, and I'm not finding that in the manual or in the tool bar

follow up

I found in the manual where it says you can go to "define area"

"Users can now create circular areas of reference points in
addition to the older rectangular ones. With CTRL-right
click, there is now a “define area - circle” option in addition
to the “define area - rectangle”"

I am not getting that function to work, dragging only gives me a rectangle option instead of circle.

Cntl+R Click gives you the menu in the screen clip.

Then click on a point and drag to the appropriate size. Make sure you make the RPs 'relative' to a unit if you want them to move.

I was finally able to get it figured out. My own butter-fingers attempts were messing up my ability to get the computer program to display what I wanted I guess. Thank you also for the reminder about 'relative'. That I have been able to do when working on scenarios. But it's always good to have reminders - sometimes I feel like you need a checklist for scenario creating.
