Is the map too gaudy or bright?

Do you like straight north and south aircraft images or diagonals?

What do you think about using the historical name "Task Force" for ships on the same mission?

I'm trying to hide the hexes and make the mountains less cookie cutter.

Great work. Deserves a response.
(I like the diagonal plane icons).
Would like to see a bit more drop shadow from the unit edge to the map.
Also I've always preferred a sharp cornered tile. I used to use a scalpel to carefully cut out my tile sheets, could never understand the nail-clipper nipped corners.
I like the circular unit shapes, reminds me of schwerpunkt's games.

Thanks for the input Magpius.

Changing the unit markers with all the different colors takes a long time but I will see what I can do.

Can you clarify little for me what you mean by " drop shadow from the unit Edge to the map".

Again thank you very much for the input. I was about to call Buehler and then anyone, anyone.

Don't want to be contrary, but I like the straight up aircraft images, as the Soviets will be leaning West and the others leaning East, I guess towards the enemy, but only when the game acts historically, there could be situations where forces become reversed.

Can you give both options, diagonal, or straight up, aircraft counters ?

I never cut the cardboard board game counters, but covered them in film to protect the edges, took forever to do, but so glad we are now using graphics. Do like the board game look, counters looking nice.

Overall, your circular aircraft and hexagonal ship counters are just great and make it much easier to see how unit stacks are configured.

Humm I answered this a long time ago. Why did the post disappeared?

Even if it's only for you Rasputitsa, that will make it all worth while. Yes I will do straight up and diagonal.
