Out of curiosity, when a scenario is created and the designer doesn't decide to use "single unit airfield" as a place to host/launch AC and they create tarmac space for AC parking.

Can you have 4 or 5 AC Tarmac space "medium" AC, and place 2 large AC on that space or won't the program let a lesser NUMBER of AC hosted on the spot be designated there, because the spot is designated for "medium" AC? The designer would have to place "large" AC tarmac space on that spot, if they want large AC there.

The amount of "area covered" by a lesser number of large AC vs designated amount of area covered by designated "smaller" AC.

I know this is kind of semantics/esthetics question, but I'm curious how this works.

Thanks everyone.

I did some testing a while back and found I could park AC according to this chart, so I think generally yes you can park a smaller number of larger AC in a smaller spot... errrr anyway, you can see from the chart.

I was just gonna say yeah and I think it's dimensions based for housing, size tagging for Runway\RAPs. But Gunner busted out the nice chart! That's a keeper.

Here's the file if you like

nothing fancy

Edit I see that the screen clip cut the bottom of the chart off so the attachment is more complete
