Hi,

This is from an old game. I never got around it and I eventually forgot but since I found it, it reminded me that I wanted to add my voice to those that would prefer that we do not make the Markermeer/IJsselmeer navigable. I also believe it should just be a lake. After all, if the whole Baltic or Skagerrak can be blocked, how hard can it be for a lake?

I honestly believe that the entrance to the lake should be a normal river.

Now one more pic I can erase from my PC

I agree with you. This is too easy.

I agree as well. In my AAR with Hadros I didn't invade here because of this.

But I would like to see more beach hexes in both the Southern Netherlands and the Pas de Calais. From Rotterdam moving West there are 6 consecutive hexes that are not invadable. Considering that this is where the Germans were convinced the Allies were going to invade this is a tremendous oversight.

Indeed good points about the beaches in the Pas de Calais. For the Ijsselmeer, perhaps an immediate solution is to put a minefield in front of the river...

PanzerMike, who is from the Netherlands, provided a good solution to the problem of the Zider Zee/IJsselmeer by placing a dike across the entrance in his Scorched Earth mod.
This both prevents ships from entering it and land units attacking across the entrance.
