This forum has more tech problems than any other forum I've ever used. I'm trying to find the page with patches for my games (because the in-game patch function NEVER works for me), and when I click on the Support link I get this error:
Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

Same thing if I click on the Home button.

Can't say that I've ever seen this error before.

How exactly am I supposed to download game patches?

Hi 76mm,

Please note the forum is for discussion, not as an authoritative update repository, though there are many updates linked here through announcements. For updates and re-downloads, you want to go to the main www.matrixgames.com site and click on "My Page" and login to your account.

Direct link to that is also here: https://www.matrixgames.com/login

That will let you see all your registered/purchased games, their updates and so on.

Regards,

- Erik

I will have to check on things at my end. I never thought that any cookies were too large as long as I have enough milk . . .

The above results were using the Firefox browser. The Edge Chrome browser does work. But I do not use Edge to get to the site other than for testing purposes.

An out of date version of ASPPlayground.NET Forum Software and no-one fixing broken links don't help. Though to be fair the Support link does work for me.

Pretty soon I was getting the same message very time I tried to open a link on the forum. Using Chrome. Had to fix it by clearing cookies, for the umpteenth time. Why does this seem to be the only forum with these problems? I've never had to clear cookies or gotten a "Size of a request header field exceeds server limit" error message for any other forum.
