In the task force screen there are ops numbers for each ship. Searched the manual and the forums but cannot find. I'm assuming operations points but how do they work? What do these numbers mean? Most are 0 but some are not? Thanks

It means how many Operation points ship has used during 12 hr pulse (0-1000).

Manual 5.2.4.

»» Ops – Each ship has 1000 Ops (Operations) points that can be used
per 12 hour pulse. If the ship does something (like refuel or load
troops) during the Orders Phase, it will use Ops Points (the points
expended will be displayed). This will take away from the distance the
ship will be able to travel in the next 12 hour movement phase.

Also cannot load/unload more when 1000 is used. Also used in rearm/refuel etc.

Thank you sir! Ah I see how I missed it. Located in the information displays section and not the naval section...

So I have been reading the paper manual this whole time. Has the PDF version of the manual ever been updated? Is it better I switch?

This Admiral's Edition of War in the Pacific came out in 2009, so the original manual should be only 12 years old. Are you still using the WitP manual from 2004?

Manual has not been updated. You need to read "What's New PDF" to be "up to date".
