Polish

I have have this happen against me so I thought I would introduce ComadrejaKorp to it as I did my strat bombing in France...

The Mech moves into Germany and takes Bratislavia. This is a pain as it is a loss 5PP for at least 2 turns.
The Poles pull back to their capital in an attempt at delaying.
Some players attack everywhere they can. That is an option but in looking at the map I think there is a chance that ComdrejaKorp may not enough against Warsaw to take it next turn.
I could surely be wrong and perhaps it was best to attack and try to damage units but losses would be minimal
The Poles also bomb the one Panzer in range to reduce its efficiency, starting with the fighter to drain the LW defense so that the bomber hits unabated.
A few units are put into garrison mode to see if the PP can be converted to some reinforcements before the attack.
All PP goes into reinforcements. Not sure if there is anything else you can do with them.

France

Air unis are shifted around to help defend against the Strat bombing by the Germans.
Sorry that I taught him this.
Other than that they start shifting ground units to get their 50% exp units out of the Maginot Line and replace with 40%.
They will be needed for the defense and any counterattacks.

French fleet, sends sub hunters out to sea...
The main fleet leaves the Med and head towards France in the Atlantic so that they can mess with German units in 1940.

UK

1 German sub sunk 1 MM
PP wise...reinfocements turned off and PP being saved up.
Many units put into garrison to gain quick PP.
Moves anti-sub units to sea to try to slow down the Uboats.
England shifts their air around to be in a defensive postion and defended by ground infantry.
ComadrejaKorp landed a cheap German unit to overrun one of my fighters once. Undecided if it was worth it in the end. Costs 1 50% INF and 10 landing craft to destroy 10 fighters and put them out of service for a few months.

US sits

I want to thank you, the truth is that I never thought about it, it really is very annoying and helps in our goal of reducing the strength of the allies at the beginning of the game.

It is more of a blow to Wehrmacht's morale than to its economy, dislodging this entrenched armor would have cost a minimum of 2 infantry subfactors (7pp), getting 3 kills would cost the Axis 11pp.

Although without a doubt I would have made the same move if Stjeand had left me.

Allies

Very quiet turn...
Poland fell...forgot to put the unit on hold. Duh.

No builds. Units shift around in France.

German subs get lost...and do not attack the convoy route.

Where did I get my Bratislava numbers wrong?

Invading it are 5pp first turn and 5pp second turn, third turn has no penalty.
In short, Germany loses 10pp, 11pp with a war effort.

Uk doesn't win anything because he has no connection with Poland. At least that's what I think.

And if Germany does not lose 2 or 3 infantry subfactors because Krakow is an open city, it saves 7 or 11pp

In summary Axis loses a maximum of 4pp and a lot of pride.

Turn 3

Germans decide to bomb Lyon...do 8 damage. Fighters fly to intercept and do poorly. 4 fighters lost...4 bombers killed.
UK sends a squadron to assist.

Sub hunters find their mark...2 MM lost...2 sub hits.
Maybe the new glasses command has provided the hunters are helping.

UK and French built an armor.
Canada builds an escort.

Turn 4

German subs went home.
Germans attacks ground units to wear down the French fighters. They gave a good showing overall but slightly in German favor.

French and UK continue to shift units around. Canadian unit heads for the Middle East.

Correct...and the experience for the attack that is priceless.

Did it come back fully on turn 3? Hard to tell when it happened to me.

Defensive lines...

UK

2 Armor
2 Mech
5 Inf corps

3 Inf Corps in Africa more than enough to deal with the Italians.

1 Inf Corps in UK in reserve just in case.

More on the way if needed.

France

1 Armor
A LOT of Inf...you can count if you like.
Some sit in Garrison mode so that I could get more INF in play. But they will come out of that mode as needed.
I messed up and overbuilt a bit...always forget, but as units die Logistics will free up.

Rain comes...there is dancing in the streets of Paris...they have 2 more weeks of non-oppression

The German navy make a bold move...

They sink 10MM and the 3 French escorts. That was nice of them, cleaning up for me.
But the British carriers strike with their swordfish...

The Germans make a bold deep thrust into French territory. It is expensive in manpower but they do cripple 4 French corps including 2 50% exp ones that were to be used in the counter attack.

But they have left an opening...

First thing...French attack units on the front lines with an air faint...using fighters that can not longer fight in the air battle...they survive and wear down the LW.

Now that the counter attack is set up, French bombers are called in, they soften up the Infantry corps keeping supply to the frontline units.

Now the armored spear strikes.

Unit retreats under the pressure.

Now to keep the pressure up...
Attacks turn to the other infantry corps keeping the units in supply

It takes 3 attacks but it shatters.
