On the very first Allied turn of the 1939 campaign, on my end the French can move their air into the UK as well as move their ships into UK ports (if unoccupied). Can you confirm?
If not, please send me a turn to firstname.lastname@example.org and I'd be happy to take a look.

Have started a new game now - deleted the old one. When Germany conquered Holland and Belgium I tried moving some french naval units to UK ports and this time it works.
So that's good. Don't know why it didn't work in the last game but it does now. However, I did do something in the last game that may have been the cause. As I said at the beginning of this thread, in my previous game I wanted to basically abandon France and move troops to Malaya/HK instead. When the BEF deployed in France, I immediately re-deployed 1 of the units to SE Asia.
A few turns later (when France was doomed) I tried to move some French naval to UK ports but couldn't do it (which is when I posted about this new problem). Also, I was unable to move/do anything with my BEF infantry. I think I had 2 INF units in France at this time and 1 HQ. The HQ was at a port and I was able to evacuate it, but I couldn't order the INF unit(s) to do ANYTHING. They were in supply, had good morale, action points available but couldn't move/attack/operate. They just sat there and got smashed.
Did my premature evacuation of a BEF unit affect FR/UK relations? I didn't get any messages but maybe that's the cause.
This time, I started evacuating UK units quite late and everything seems to be working. Also French naval can base in CW ports so it's all good. Haven't tried air and land units but will do so.
I always like to end a post with a question so here goes. Now that I can move French units to the UK, if they become free french when France surrenders (20% chance) will they stay in the UK or get magically whisked away to a French colony?
