Hi dude. I have subscribed your two scenarios on Steam workshop.
Nice that someone has put them on Steam. I've never used it so it is somewhat a mystery to me.
They are extremely impressive indeed.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy them.
However, there is something makes me confused.
Well as I spend most of my time confused, welcome to the club!
First, why there are 053 FFGs in the Shandong CVBG(which is quit strange) ? How about replace them with 054a FFGs and 052d DDGs?
The Shandong's CSG includes...
1. Type 055 Destroyer
1. Type 052B Destroyer
1. Type 052D Destroyer
Now according to an article in "The Diplomat" the Shangdong has been accompanied by...
"While the PLAN has not officially elaborated on the composition of its new carrier strike group, the Liaoning during past operations has been escorted by a Luyang III-class (Type 052D) guided-missile destroyer, a Luyang II-class (Type 052C) guided-missile destroyer, a Jiangkai II-class (Type 054A) guided-missile frigate, and alternatively one to two Yuan-class (Type 039A) or Song-class (Type 039) submarines."
The Type 053 series were just vessels to augment the CSG. I do see your point and if I update the sceanrio I will likely replace them with one or two Type 054s.
Second, the JASDF Naha AB doesn't have F-35 fighters deployed in the real world but you deployed them in the scen.
So this is simple, the JASDF’s forward deployed them to Naha when the conflict began. Air forces forward deploy Air Expeditionary Groups all of the time. I don’t see an issue here.
Third, there is enough evidence showing that the YJ-12 supersonic ASMs have already widely used by PLANAF's H-6Gs and H-6Js. Then why they still use KD-63 and YJ-100 subsonic ASMs (which are low in efficency)?
ACTUALLY, it looks like a rebuild to the latest database wiped out the Magazines for the scenario! No airfield has any reserve load outs. I have seen this before when there is an incompatibility between the original database and the new one. I’ll attach the original Zip File.
Forth, J-20 fighters have been in servive since 2017 and are being manufactured for years. And according to the open-source intelligence, they are serving in at least two air brigades in the East Theatre. So will the number of J-20 provided in Ryukyu 2022 be a little small?
I had to cut back on a lot of aircraft to make the scenario manageable. If you look at the J-7s and J-10s you’ll notice they are about ½ of what they should be. In large scenarios you need to make compromises.
Thank you and looking forward to your reply.
