I Am Canadian.
But I can't hold it back, my neighbour just stopped scaring me.
2020 was rough. Certainly because of covid.
But I've been scared for 4 years.
I have many friends who live next door. And the family next door has been acting crazy.
January was about as tense as I want it to ever get. But it is ending a lot better than it started. My view.

My own family is hardly perfect. Some really bother me. So I apologize if any might seem like a pain. Alberta is upset, But I'm not too happy with that brat. I'm looking forward to improving the situation, even if it put some of my family out a bit.

I've wanted to see a lot of places next door. Still do. But it was just nooooot going to happen until some of the family next door were told to chill out on the hate. Every family has em. Mine does too.

I'm wishing my neighbour a good 2021 and on, regardless of what some of 2021 might entail.
Ya, I know, sometimes my apartment gets like totally in need of some serious work, and it sucks.
But I'm feeling better seeing the crazy noisy loud rav next door has ended.
I just want some peace and quiet.

I was seriously pondering moving to the far north of Norway for a while there.
But I'd rather just stay here, build my models, and maybe spend a great deal of my 2021 playing a lot of my wargames I have recently obtained.

I would much prefer tanks and planes stayed where there belong, in remote portions of the past.
I'm wanting to stop staring at games like War in the East and Warplan and Strategic Command and actually get around to playing them.
I want to forget what's happening on YouTube, and focus on what's being worked on at Slitherine Games :)
Life is too short to waste it on the real world.

I'd respond to this garbage but I'm fearful the new secret police will take me off to a "re-education" camp.

Sounds like you just need to 'tune' out and 'chill' for a while. Ya know, decompress. Nothing wrong with that, the alternative can have serious effects sometimes.

BTW playing these games goes a long way with myself, I get lost in them.

But every new neighbor has their own agenda and most of it is that they don't care about you

Meanwhile, here in the states the Mega-Millions Lottery is up to $970m. Hitting that would make me happy because I could buy an island, a boat and a tank

Make that boat an LST so you can take the tank to your island!

Well I guess it's a political post on the change of power in the USA, thinly veiled for sure. Must think the moderators are idiots (which they're not). IDK about you but I'm getting slightly annoyed with these constant attempts at political posts.

These forums should remain neutral.

Maybe I should start a thread about Canadians not using their common cents any more plus other things that Canadians do - and don't do!

Politics and religion should avoided on forums such as this.

Well I was just trying to be nice.

But their implying the mods are idiots is certainly out of line. I thought I kept my post very neutral and friendly.

In Canada, a man kills his own daughter and seriously injures a 17 year old girl and wants less punishment:

The Canadians use their own cents that have nothing in common with US cents.

And that's just common sense.

Mr Springel you don't critically think. I'm no racist or admirer, my voter registration card says NPA no political affiliation, I have issue with extremism both left and right. I take issue with politicizing these forums. It appears you don't.

Oh please just lock this.
I tried hard to be pleasant about a tricky subject.
This thread wasn't what I had in mind.

Oh come on MrsWargamer, you knew perfectly well you were throwing a grenade in a room full of people! I think you like stirring the pot, as it were.
