I'm thinking about buying this but I am wary because of potential UI issues. There appears to lots of small type text so running on my 5K screen in native res will be far too small. I'm concerned the text will be too blurry if I pick other resolutions and I'm wondering if there is UI scaling built into the game and, if so, how it looks on 5K.

Playing on 4k and its great. There are plenty of scaling options also in the settings.

Thanks, but I took a look at the manual and I only see 2 options - 3/4 and 7/8ths - pictured although the manual talks about a 1/2 in the text. Are these the only options?

I tried 4k but I got issues with the opening animation's timing, the position and size of some in-game text and a few other graphical anomalies (mainly to do with units moving). I ended up switching to a 1080p monitor. However, I do know that my brother is playing with 4k + 200% scaling and it doesn't bother him.

Thanks for the reply. When you say 200% scaling is that one of the game settings as I didn't see it in the manual?

200% DPI is the best setting to use as its the most CPU efficient one and doesn't cause any light blurring.

If 200% is not available better to switch your screen resolution
