I'm trying to get my head round some of the dos and don'ts of using U-boats. Some questions: 1. When a sub unit ends its turn on a convoy lane having spent both of its OP points, it does not attack the convoy route. However, the escorts still attack the sub. Is this WAD, or is top tip No1 of sub warfare to never end your turn on a convoy route with 0 OPs? 2. If I have two subs sitting on the same convoy route, is there any difference as to whether they are in the same hex, or different hexes? 3. What's the difference exactly between having one sub sitting on a convoy route, and three subs - ie, are you basically rolling three times (once for each sub) on the same combat table to determine damage dealt and damage received, or does having more subs in a stack change the nature of the combat equation in favour of the subs in any way? 4. When a player removes escorts from one convoy route, and adds them to another, on the UI this appears instantaneous. Is this the case? ie you can immediately shuffle escorts with no detriment?
