Hi, the map layer "show regime coloring " as virtually no effect on my screen. The lands colors barely change and is very pale. Is it a problem with my video card/screen or do you guys have the same ?
As a result it's not easy to see at a glance which tiles are mine and who owns what.
Am I missing something ?
thx

It is quite pale on my screen too, although still easily discernible.

A common issue for software developers is the differences between various monitors and monitor settings that users may have. Especially for small teams of developers with limited access to a variety of hardware, it becomes nearly impossible to know how something will look in all cases - it probably looked just fine on the developers' monitor(s).

Fiddling with the color saturation setting on the monitor may help.

Ok Thanks for confirming, I should survive this.
I guess the day the game becomes moddable this can be improved. :-)

Perhaps. A while ago I actually searched for the image files that control the recoloring so I could darken them up a bit, but never found the images. It may be that the game engine simply does the color shading internally, which would make it unmodable (with out a code change).

Don't go by me though! I may just have missed them.... If you want to do it, hunt around a little yourself and let us know if you find anything. I probably will again someday too.
