Spanking Lowpe (NJP72 vs Lowpe (A))

Post by Lowpe »

I suspect your imaginations are in the gutter, oh well.

DaIronBabes Scenario B (scenario 2)

PDU OFF [;)]

Stacking Limits

HR:
Only 50 planes max on night bombing runs of ports or runways per turn. No restriction on other night bombing missions.

Political Points for troops to cross borders except Thai allowed into Burma for free, unless already free.

Turn one Allies can only move already existing task forces turn one. No creating new task forces day 1 for Allies. No on purpose American CV hunting on turn 1. Mersing tactic ok since Allies can give orders to Task Force Z.

Did I forget anything important?

Opponent: NJP is a fast and furious Japan with a devious plan from Pinky and the Brain to conquer the world. He says fear autovictory. He played to the bitter end either way in previous games.

Hello all,

great to be able to finally get the opportunity to play Lowpe who has been one I have always admired and sought advice from over many years. A truly outstanding gentleman and scholar [:)]

I have always been incredibly fortunate with a number of wonderful opponents over the many years (NYGiants, Wargmr, Arto, TiemanJ etc) which highlights the strength of our community and the wonderful camaraderie that exists.

It will be fast and furious, no quarter asked for nor shown, which is exactly I suspect the punters will want to see. [:)]

Not sure if I will have time to start an AAR straight away but will certainly look at doing something once we get under away.

I will now take my leave and start working on the turn.

*The title is a bit misleading! Things could go very pear shaped for the Empire in the is game and I am very confident it will be me that gets spanked.

I would ask for a HR on 4E bombers no lower than 10K and that troops can be unloaded only in dots/bases

good luck for both

Since I'm mainly an AFB, I'll have trouble with this AAR as Nathan was my last opponent (we played until Sept '45 with BTS Lite). Nathan is a good Aussie friend from Brisbane. [&o]

Good luck Professor Lowpe, but not too much. [:D]

The title could be read either way.
Will it be:
1. The Spanking of Lowpe, or
2. Lowpe the Spankerer?
Currently playing my first PBEM, no house rules Scenario 1 as IJ.

Lowpe doesn't merely spank ...

Both sides!

NJP has bowed out of the AAR...

Thinking of sending the Carriers to Guam off the bat, and from there making a mad run to Luzon/SRA. Flank speed, devil-may-care...

Different forces here at start than in modified stock game 2.

Here are a few:

Last game, I discovered this blind sleeve...especially with poor pilots. Subs with bad torpedoes will help keep an eye on it. Plan to really work starting subs for intel gathering, and not worry too much about mine laying yet.

As my devious JFB mind processes all the routes to AV...early detection and nimble defensive logistics is what I need right now.
