In the other games in the series each nation receivers their own new unit placement reminder screen. For whatever reason in SCWW1 it is all one screen and you have to click on each country individually down the line. I am so used to the previous series that I always forget to do this and miss the new units for say Austria Hungary and Turkey. Any way this can be reverted to the way it was in the other series with each individual country getting a reminder? It is so annoying to keep missing these new unit placements!

Hmm. My experience with the new units box is that it presents each nation's new unit arrivals in sequential order as soon as you've finished placing one of them. So, as soon as you are done placing British units, up pops the box for the French if needed, then the Serbians, then the Russians, etc. I've never even had the need to click on any of the national flag buttons at the top.

I get fussy when I decide to deploy out new units mid turn or later after some maneuvering and I get the pop ups...but then, I'm glad for those pop ups.
Some of us old folks need that kind reminder, after all.

Maybe I am losing my mind but something seems different? I usually never place my units on turn start and press cancel so I can decide where to place new units at the end of my moves rather than the beginning and I feel like I am missing certain units for some reason because each country is not popping up individually? No I am advocating for more pop ups not removing them haha.

I've gotten into the habit of checking the production table and sort of mentally designating where I want units to go the turn before they deploy.

My big interface change wish would be for a little more distance between the save and quit button.

Hi Tanaka,

Not sure what to say here as all the recent Strategic Command games (War in Europe, World at War, and WWI) use the same code base and it should work as Platoonist describes, e.g. a single New Units screen and if there are different ones for different countries you simply select the different nations you wish to place units for as needed.

Is this not the case?
Hubert

Yes my apologies Hubert I thought I missed placing some new units which has never happened before and became frustrated just don't remember that happening before but most likely an error on my part somewhere...usually they pop up on the screen and it seemed for some reason they did not but maybe I missed it...
