On the upper right, there was a small icon to say "France is out of oil stockpile". Usually, when you are clicking on such icon, the GUI goes directly on the country's capital.

But, in my turn, France has lost its last capital without electing a new one. So, clicking on the icon did nothing.

So, I think this is why the GUI has crashed.

In the directory C:\Users\User\AppData\LocalLow\Kraken Studios\WarPlan, the Player.txt file says:

Trying to reproduce, I am left clicking just once on the icon and it gives me these logs:

And if I am clearing all the icons, it is finishing by freezing the GUI.

I bet it has to do with the new limited supply source rule and where capitals are relocated.

Alas no I cannot send a save game, this is a current PBEM but the reproduction method is there.

I just updated with v8 beta 42 fixing the production issue.

Try again. If it doesn't work
You might have to download and just hit end turn so the Capitol error fixes it self on the end turn routines.
If that doesn't work I will have to restore a previous game.
If that doesn't work I will have to do the above + you will have to go back to 1.07.

This is why you have to be careful with Betas. Lots of things can go wrong. I'd put it in a separate folder and just test with A.I.

Yep I have two folders as you told me last time. I was just lazy to stop Warplan to switch between my current AI game and my PBEM game. Will do so now.

Well I believe I realized the issue and fixed it. So get the newest beta from Saturday
