I have played around with trying to shoot down a satellite and nothing I do seems to work. Which weapons are best
for shooting down a satellite?
Any Ideas?

There are only 5 I know of that target sats.

That said of all the gear I only ever had the F-15A able to actually do it (and that was in CMANO), though I've not tried in recent months.

I tried the F-15 and it could not lock on. I had the same problem with the others as well.
It seems to not be able to track well enough to fire. Is there a trick I have missed?

You gotta place the f-15 in like the incoming path, and it's gotta be with-in range and the sae has to be like <300km in alt (limits of the 135-A), for the f-15 to fire.

That said I just tried again, and of the 5, I could only get the f-15 to even fire, fired 65 shots (I added a vls tube to my f-15) trying to hit it head on and from some slight angles, before I gave up again (not one hit). None of the others would even get past the dlz problem which is probably what you mean. I circled the world in the correct (supposedly) ddgs and sc15 sites for coverage nearly everywhere, no joy (I had about 100+ enemy sats orbiting). If there is a trick, I don't know it, but would like too.

Fantastic!

I also don't doubt it was tough, when it comes sats, and orbital math let alone intersecting munitions etc I do not envy any developer, just thinking about it makes my head hurt.
