Depending on the regimes' coloring schemes, and on the terrain's dominant color, the difference between filter on and off can appear difficult to see at times:


A slightly less transparent coloring, or perhaps even better a slider to allow the player to adjust the setting to their taste or need, could maybe constitute an improvement.

I'm ok with a slider that you suggested Jdane, because I really appreciate the very subtlety of it. Otherwise I'd disable it.
