Fighter-bomber optional rule

Hi folks

In our Global War NP game we have the Fighter Bomber optional rule selected but we are unable to fly land based fighters as bombers on any mission. Carrier based aircraft seem to work fine.

I have encountered this issue in solo games as well .. is there some trick we are missing, or perhaps this is a bug.

No bug.

The trick is to right-click on the fighter-bomber and select 'fly as a bomber'. See picture.

Note that the fighters range is halved when it fly as a bomber. And that the fighter value is reduced.
